Job Made Easy With Practice Management Software

Sarah arrived at the clinic ten minutes late. The morning had been filled with one calamity after another and now she must face Dr. Dobson. He was a perfectionist and being late was far from perfect in his eyes. She had only been late one other time and he almost fired her for it.
Sarah needed this job because of the good pay. However, she didn t like having to report to such a strict man and often thought about quitting.
Because Dr. Dobson was such a perfectionist, he had to have the perfect system in his medical practice to keep his employees organized and to keep all records in order. He searched diligently to find a system that would please his high expectations. After much diligent research he found a system where he could keep all his medical records on file electronically. Sarah actually loved this electronic medical record software because it made her job easier. Dr. Dobson also had medical practice management software installed to help keep record of patients appointments and billing information.
Dr. Dobson always brought in the healthiest people to examine. He also made sure all workers in his office were healthy. She thought doctors would want to see people that were sick and needed them. That is exactly what all practicing physicians did/, except Dr. Dobson. He even insisted that the healthiest ones come back for check-ups. All check up examinations were given to the patients free if Dr. Dobson couldn t find something wrong with them.
When Sarah arrived late to the office her boss wasn t acting normal at all. He was so excited that he couldn t stop hugging his employees and dancing around.
"Did you hear?" he asked. "They found one. I knew they would. Oh this is so stirring. I will have to move up my completion date. Oh, not to worry we are almost ready anyway."
"What in the world is happening? Have they found a cure for some terrible disease?" she thought, "and he hasn t said a word about me being late."
"Alright," He laughed, "I need an emr on each of my top candidates. Here they are," he said, as he handed a list of names to her. "I want them sent to the email address at the bottom of the list. They must be sent now for this to work."
She glanced at the first few names on list, and thought, "These are the healthiest patients the doctor has ever seen. These were the people who Dr. Dobson always gave the most attention to. She went right to work retrieving the files from the emr software through his emr system and prepared to send them.
"Never mind sending those files," the doctor yelled, "I just remembered they can just access them from their laboratory. Oh, I am so excited. I forgot how user friendly these electronic medical records are."
Sarah was puzzled. She wondered what was going on. He looked to be in a very good mood so she decided to ask.
"Dr. Dobson," Sarah began, "What in the world is happening?"
"Oh, no one has told you? I feel privileged to be the first to let you know that scientists have finally found a planet just like the one we live on! This is by far one of the most crucial findings in history. I knew after I saw that global warming documentary that scientists would find a new planet to live one! I have been part of this special project to help send the healthiest people to begin a new race on the planet. We are going to survive the end of this earth after all."
Sarah got an uneasy feeling. This was just too weird to be true.
"Sarah, use the medical practice management system and find the addresses and phone numbers of the people on the list. It is necessary to call them all so that we can have everyone ready by tonight."
Sarah was stunned. She asked, "Do they know they have been chosen to colonize a new planet? Do you think they will come if you just call them?"
"What a question, Sarah! They most certainly will. I know they will." he replied.
"Well I certainly wouldn t want to go!" thought Sarah as she continued to look down the list. Then she saw it right after Terry Gilmore, her name, Sarah Williams. That was when she fainted.
When she woke it was dark and everything was quiet. She turned on the light and looked around. Everything was gone. The office had been stripped clean of all its furnishings.
She found a note by her side.
It read: Sarah, we had to leave you behind, sorry but you must not be as healthy as we thought. We can t take chances with this special project. Please see a doctor about your fainting spell, Sincerely Dobson.
Sarah fainted again, only this time it was because she was relieved, not scared.
